Our Shared Heritage
Historic Swale, regret to inform you that we have made the decision to postpone the Historic Swale Conference scheduled for this Saturday 21st March 2020.
This difficult decision has been taken following the Health Secretary Matt Hancock's announcement yesterday who suggested, that over 70 year olds should stay at home. We believe this will affect all ages very shortly, in line with Europe's actions. This is a sensible precaution to protect our speakers, delegates, stall holders and family members to help keep us all safe and as healthy as possible.
We plan to re-schedule this event for later this year for Saturday 7th November. Historic Swale will carry over and honour your ticket, whether you are a delegate or a stall holder. We hope that you will carry over your stall or conference fee to the autumn event. However, if you feel that you do need a refund, please let us know, and I will put this into action. Please email events@historicswale.org.uk with your bank accounts details.
Many of us have invested a lot of time and energy to promote and produce this event, so we have not taken this decision lightly. We apologies for any inconvenience caused....these are uncharted waters.
If you are a speaker at the conference and not available for that date, please contact Richard.
We'll get through this - history is the glue that holds communities together....so let's hang in there!
Please pass this information on to anyone you think may need to know.
Richard
