Faversham VE Day

Few people realise that Faversham Cemetery has a memorial and dedicated area for graves of first and second world war casualties - this web site has images and a link to a list of casualties buried there

Faversham celebrates VE Day 75th Anniversary with virtual garden parties and virtual singalongs!

Faversham VE Day has a Facebook profile - check it out here!

The Ransom family celebrated VE Day with a physically distanced street party with prosecco, tea and cake. Mary Ransom and daughter Bex (a former student of Birmingham Conservatoire) played a duet of "We'll meet again", and Bex played "Last Post" at 11am and 2.55pm.
