Welcome to Faversham Society Learning at the Fleur de Lis Heritage Centre
The museum is packed with curious objects and activities for children so bring your classes along to experience our primary hands-on sessions for Key Stages 1 and 2. We cover a broad range of topics which encompass the curriculum areas of history, science, art, geography, literacy, ICT and numeracy. We encourage self-generated learning, using problem-solving and thinking skills, as well as providing opportunities for object handling, dressing-up and craft-making. Click here to download a booking form.
The 'Our Villages' learning project is currently working with some of Faversham’s village primary schools to produce input for a new display at the museum. Click here to find out more or to start your own project click here.
We are developing a number of teachers’ resources, including our new WW1 scrapbook, and can also accommodate secondary school groups who may be studying WW1 or WW2 or carrying out research for local history projects.
