If you love Faversham, join us. We seek to Cherish the Past, Adorn the Present, Create for the Future

Statement from the Chair

The Faversham Society is apolitical, and is proud of the work we have done to build constructive relationships with local political decision-makers from all parties, as well as independents, over the years. We will continue with this approach whatever the outcome of any future local or national elections in order to ensure we can advocate effectively for the conservation of our town’s rich history and heritage.

The Society is staffed by a wonderful and much-valued army of volunteers, who hold a diverse range of views on local issues and politics. Any statement of alignment with, or support for any political party or individual election candidate given by any member or our Board or any of our volunteers is given in a personal capacity, and does not reflect the views of the Society.
