The Faversham Society is run entirely by its volunteers and they are highly valued by us.
We need friendly, enthusiastic people “front of house” in our Visitor Information Centre, Heritage Centre Museum, Secondhand Bookshop and to lead our Town walks
We welcome inquisitive, creative and organised people to work with our museum and archive collections telling the story of Faversham’s history. There are volunteers looking at our publications and organising events. The more helpers we have, the more we can achieve.
We are a friendly bunch, whether you are new to the town or a long-term resident, it's a great way to meet like-minded people.
Whatever your skills or areas of interest, there will be something that suits you. Tell us what you can offer, everyone has skills we can use !
If you are interested in volunteering or would like some more information, please email volunteer@favershamsociety.org and we will get back to you
The Volunteer Agreement describes the arrangement between Faversham Society and you.
We wish to assure you of our appreciation for your volunteering with us and will do the best we can to make your experience enjoyable and rewarding.
This agreement is required to ensure that you are insured and that we comply with GDPR, so all volunteers are expected to accept it.
