The Society does not object to the principle of housing development on the land however, we do have serious concerns that despite the amendment, the proposed house on Plot 1 presents an overbearing intervention in the Conservation Area (CA) to the detriment of its ambience and character. This is a very large five-bedroom house (2,800 sq. ft).
